I had to write and congratulate you on this month’s edition (March) which arrived yesterday. It is an excellent edition, and I think it is about time that you should be congratulated on the improving merit of the magazine. Brian Loomes will continue bringing a wealth of information to the ‘less-informed’ by his excellent, and very informative FAQ article on lantern clocks. This man has done so much for the clock collector over the years with his research, informative articles and his ability to enthral the reader/collector like myself. I owe such a great deal of my enthusiasm for clock collecting to this man that I think it high time that the Queen recognise his contribution, and give him a knighthood!—there have been so many who have received the honour, and deserve it far less ...
