Check the hands are free of one-another and move the minute hand back for ten minutes. If the hour, minute and seconds hands are catching as they pass they will stop the clock. If the movement is a striking movement and the clock stops repeatedly at the same time the striking could have failed and be stopping the clock or the strike release mechanism could be responsible for stopping the clock. |
