 Product review
Big Ben competition photograph Brass longcase hands are frequently found to be damaged or even missing. Replacements of the correct size and type should be fitted commensurate with the style of the clock.

Craig Millington-Pidcock makes new brass longcase hands to period patterns or will make hands to customer’s sizes/patterns upon request. The hands are punched and finished ready for fitting and only requires the centre holes to be filed to fit the movement.

Odd hands can be made providing the colour of the brass can be matched. All patterns are copies of originals and retain most of their character. At present Craig has about a dozen different patterns to fit dials from 11in to 14in in diameter.

Craig is at the moment selling his hands on eBay, but can be contacted at: Highdown Farm, Hartland, Bideford, Devon EX39 6AN. E-mail: craigtompion@hotmail.co.uk
